A Crystal Bowl, “Kenya Africa” by Queen Lace, Bavaria, 20th Century
The bowl with a large opening and well-proportioned body allows for a magnificent scene to be etched on the body. The scene is of an African elephant coming through the jungle and standing in a grass mound. The verso is marked in script “Queen Lace”
A Pair of Red Cut to Clear Vases, Bohemian, early 20th Century
The flared vases with shapely and pronounced base are made of a red flashed or thinly cased red exterior cut and etched to clear, revealing a castle scene and repeated oval and round bands. The vases are unmarked.
