The molded body in a hookah form is hand decorated in stylized carnations and geometric bands in cobalt blue and greens on a white ground. The top is surmounted by a domed shaped lid; however it may be used as a vase without the lid and still proportionately pleasing. The verso is unmarked and we are unsure of its age.

The flared top sits above a bulbous with applied “C” shaped straps. The body is raised on a pronounced inverted trumpet base and decorated in blue with highlights of white bordering metallic lettering.

Almost like a patch work quilt. This piece is made up of various fabric remnants in squares that are stitched together to create an open work blanket.
