An American Brilliant Cut Glass Water Pitcher and Eight Cups by Libbey, circa 1900
Each of the nine pieces has been hand blown, cut and polished. Each of the cylindrical cups are acid etched with a script “Libbey” on the inside bottom of the glass. This piece is a prime example of the American Brilliant Cut Glass technique. This gorgeous work is in the form of a liquor decanter however; a stopper was never intended to accompany this piece.
