A Ceremonial Blanket, Uzbekistan, Mid 20th Century
Almost like a patch work quilt. This piece is made up of various fabric remnants in squares that are stitched together to create an open work blanket. Each square tile is hand decorated in blues, green, mustard yellow, and iron red with a clear over glaze. Each tile is unmarked.
Size: 5 7/8” square
Condition: Very Good, one tile with slight scratches and one tile with slight crazing.
