A Cake Knife, Alpaca, Mexican Mid Century
The modern design of this cake knife would make a great gift. The blade tappers near the loop handle while the blade is made up of a wavy serrated edge. The handle is decorated with a stylized leaf with a tail of graduated spheres. The verso is stamped “ALPACA.” Alpaca is not silver. It is an alloy of copper, nickel and zinc.
