A Hand Painted Cider / Water Pitcher, Tiger Lily Limoges, France circa 1910
The cylindrical and flaring form has a generous spout and a “C” shaped gilt handle. The body is hand painted with a red tiger lily flower on each side along with its green grass like foliage. The body is enhanced with wide bands of gilt trim. The verso is marked “Limoges, France, WG&Co. along with another stamp that is hard to read but stands for “Stouffer hand Painted”. Size: 8” high 6” diameter (base) Condition: Excellent, slight but expected wear $225.00 |
