A Hand Painted Ceramic Covered Bowl, Italy circa 1960
The bowl of scalloped and tapering form is surmounted by a lid of conforming shape. The lid is centered by a pronounced knop and like the bowl is decorated in a green ground and creamy white raised work with florets, swags and fan shapes. The lid has four oval reserves each painted in a landscape. The bottom of the bowl is marked “1292 ITALY” Size: 6 ½” diameter 5 ¾” high Condition: Excellent, gilt slightly rubbed $95.00 |
