This whimsical set of figurines will certainly be a conversation piece when added to any home or office! These brass mini-sculptures illustrate various sexual positions. Their intention was to illustrate and venerate the acts of the sexual process, perhaps with a male-centric viewpoint. In generations past, reproduction was essential to the nomadic herding tribal/family groups. From an African perspective these figurines serve a more practical purpose. In a universal sense they are quite amusing and appealing. Each brass work displays a male/female couple both of elongated body frames. Their features are subtle yet, show a quality attention to the detail. The figures are secured unto a flat sheet of brass as a base. The bases display a simple geometric pattern stamped boarder.
