Pair of Wedgwood Cabinet Vases, Blue Willow Pattern

Pair of Wedgwood Cabinet Vases, Blue Willow Pattern, Porcelain, England

This pair of cabinet vases may also function as toothpick holders or salt cellars. Regardless of use they are a handsome pair! The pair of vases are urn shaped. Wedgwood decorates the work in the classic Blue Willow pattern. This pattern is no longer in production and, it is highly collectable. The palette of the pattern is an underglazed blue and white. The motif shows willows, pagodas, foliage and, birds. The boarders are Chinoisere geometric patterns. This Blue Willow pattern was created in response to the popularity of the fine porcelains of the East. The base of each is marked “Willow Wedgwood of Etruria &Barlaston Made in England.”

Size: each stands 2 ½” in height and, 2 ¼” in diameter

Condition: Excellent, one vase shows a chipped rim
