Enameled Carriage Clock, Tiffany & Company, French
A Dore Enameled Carriage Clock, Tiffany & Company, French 19th Century

This special carriage clock is beautifully decorated with a hand painted porcelain face depicting a maiden resting amongst a mystical grove. The plaque is signed on the lower left-hand corner “Leroy.” The classical case is made up of Corinthian columns that frame beveled glass panels and a hinged rear door. The works are marked in script “Tiffany & Co., New York.” This well made clock was probably made by Leroy & Fils a well respected French clock maker in 1890 and retailed through Tiffany & Co. in New York City.

Condition: Excellent, small handle looses from rear door

Size: 6’high (without handle up), 4” wide, 3 ½” deep
