The mushroom cap shaped lid with pronounced knop in the form of an emerging blossom sits upon a high waisted globular form with applied scrolling foliage around the shoulder and is raised on four “C” shaped legs headed by a foliate design in high relief. Two scrolling “C” shaped handles flank the tureen. The verso is hallmarked. A sympathetically matched ladle accompanies tureen.
