A Faux Wood Grain Painted Armoire, Continental, 19th Century
This double door armoire is wonderfully painted with a faux mahogany wood grain finish. The pronounced molded crown sits above a pair of coffered paneled doors flanked by thin columns. The lower portion has two drawers and is raised on bun feet. The doors are fitted together with peg construction and open to reveal an interior with one shelf. This is a great piece of furniture that would warm up any room. Size: 73” high, 24 ¼” deep, 53 ½” wide Condition: Very Good to Excellent, top right corner lacking molding, left side lower area near base with loss, right side with crack from shrinkage $1,500.00 |
