An American Hand Painted, Rush Seat Side Chair, 19th Century
The shapely backsplates and curved styles are above a square rush seat, raised on saber legs and painted in a warm green. The chair is further embellished with gold and black decoration in a Federal deign of Acanthus leaves and banding. Size: 33” high, 17 ¾” wide, 17” deep Condition: Good to fair, rush seat not original, side stretcher broken and expected wear to finish $125.00 |
