An Antique Cast Iron Nutcracker in the Form of a Dog, circa 1900
This charming nutcracker in the form of a Lab or other large canine is cast in two pieces and joined by two rivets. The movable tale counteracts the jaw to clench down to crack a nut. The piece has a warm golden brown patina with black spots. The nutcracker is unmarked. Size: 5” high, 11 ½” long, 2” wide Condition: Excellent, expected wear |
