Sterling Silver Salt Cellars by George Jensen, Danish
A Pair of Sterling Silver Salt Cellars and Spoons, George Jensen, Denmark, circa 1930

The hand hammered round bowl is organic in form with a handle that is issuing from the rim curving down and ending in small ball feet. These feet counter balance the bowl for stability. The cellar is accompanied with a small spoon with a curved handle that scrolls into itself and ends with small balls. The pieces are marked with a rectangular cartouche with a script “J” and a small “G”. Bellow the cartouche is “STERLING, DENMARK, 110.”

Condition: Excellent

Size: Bowl 1 3/8” diameter, ½” high, including handle 2” long, ¾” high; Spoon 1 ¾” long
