The upholstered back center by an arch and framed by a row of brass nail heads, sits over an upholstered seat, all covered in a large fruit and foliate needlepoint in shades of cream, blues, greens, red, burgundy, orange and pink. The seat is flanked by two arms with needlepoint armrests and terminating in a scrolled knuckle. The arms are raised on curved supports leading to a carved and scalloped seat rail centered in the front with a shell. The chair is raised on cabriole legs ending in a scrolled foot.
