Picasso pitcher 5 1/4" made at Madoura Potteries, Vallauris, France where Picasso went annually from 1946-1971 to create his ceramics. The base is marked "Edition Picasso Madoura." The motif is Don Quixote on one side and a standing bull on the other. Many of his pieces were done in limited editions. There are 2 white chalk-like marks, one on the handle and the other at the base. See photos.
