Substantial antique stickpin with a 3D hollow top in the form of what looks like the head of a bloodhound or similar hound. Marked 14K on the pin stem. Tests positive for
14KT gold with jewelers' acid. Circa 1910. From a collection. I am selling several other pieces from this collection. Heavy at 5 grams. The
top is 5/8 inch by 3/4 inch. The pin is 2 5/8 inches long. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Early 19th century small tortoise shell box with a square silver mounting on the top and ivory or bone feet. With a paper lining on the sides and bottom and silk lining in the lid, probably for needles. 1 7/8 inches wide, 1 1/8 inches long, and 1 1/8 inches tall. Overall excellent condition. One of the feet is slightly different from the others and is probably an early replacement. Photos enlarged to show detail.
