Excellent vintage bronze box with a beautiful verdigris finish, and an applied scene of a horse and rider jumping a fence. Circa 1940. Marked SILVER CREST, GENUINE BRONZE, SMA CO, and numbered 508F and 24. This is the mark of the Smith Metal Arts Company, the successor to the Heintz Art Metal Shop.
