A stunning signed Trifari very rare grande parure, or complete jewelry suite, consisting of a necklace, bracelet, very large fur clip, and two pairs of clipback earrings, in its original Saks Fifth Avenue box.
From a Philadelphia estate and I also have listed a Trifari Empress Eugenie suite from this estate, also in its original box. Early 1940s, designed by Alfred Philippe. Marked as follows: Clip
is marked TRIFARI with crown over the T, and PAT PEND. Bracelet is marked TRIFARI with crown over the T, and with what looks like a model number of 22. Necklace is marked
TRIFARI with crown over the T. Tulip shaped earrings are marked with a model number of 34. Daisy earrings are not marked. The metal is silvertone rhodium plated. With pale blue poured glass stones simulating moonstones, matching red poured glass stones, tiny red poured glass stones, tiny colorless stones, and green and coral enameling. The bracelet has a foldover clasp. The necklace has a hook clasp. Necklace is 16 inches by 7/8 inch. Bracelet is 7 1/4 inches by just under 5/8 inch. Clip is 3 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches. Tulip earrings are 1 1/8 inches long and daisy earrings are 3/4 inch in diameter. All pieces are in excellent condition. Stones are bright and not dull as depicted in some of the photos.
