Beautiful conterie necklace of intricately woven black glass beads strung in large links, forming two chain layers. With a silvertone spring ring clasp. This piece is most likely French or Italian. Circa 1970. Perfectly on trend with the glam, edgy look of the metals, chains, and studs which are all over the runways and fashion magazines. Great size -- 21 inches wearable length at 2 1/2 inches wide at center. Each link is 2 inches long. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail. Necklace form is life size.
