| Beautiful vintage 1960s glass beaded necklace by the French maker Louis Rousselet for the couture designer Robert Piguet, with a rare Rousselet signature. This is a book piece and very well documented. Marked MADE IN FRANCE, and LR in script on the clasp. Silvertone metal volutes hold flower form sprays of red and green glass petals and leaves, and glass based faux pearls. The slide clasp has a faux mabe pearl. The flower form elements are connected by red glass beads. Wired construction. 15 1/2 inches long and just under 1 1/4 inches wide. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail.
