Offered is a large Rose Cabat studio art pottery vase from the 1970s with the signature tiny, thin neck, and the silky smooth glaze that gives it the name of a "Feelie". The colors are blue on the top and turquoise on the bottom. It measures 6-1/2" high, and 3-1/2" across, which by Cabat standards is considered quite large. Signed "Cabat" the piece is without damage or restoration. There are three minor glaze slips to the base from firing as shown.
Large 60s matt white porcelain vase, created by Werner Schreib for Rosenthal, Germany. Schreib was a famous German painter and graphic designer, who worked for Rosenthal from 1968 until just before his death in 1969. He created several relief vases for them of which this is one. Offered is a mid-century modern glazed stoneware bowl by legendary Hungarian-born American studio potter Eugene Deutch (Deutsch). The bowl is 11 1/8" long x 9 1/2" wide x 5" tall.
