A Nezumi-Shino tea bowl by Shino Artist Nakajima Masao (1922-present); the daring lines and rugged texture, in addition to the bold geometric patterns visible through the thick, pitted red glaze make this bowl quite outstanding. The artists’ stamp is impressed beside the Kodai, and it comes in the original signed and stamped wooden box. The large bowl measures 5 inches (13 cm) in diameter, just over 3 inches (8 cm) to the rim and is in perfect condition, reminiscent of the famous Momoyama peri ...click for details
