A unique modern celadon by seiji master Suwa Sozan III (1932-2005) enclosed in the original signed wooden box. It is a bottle form with all edges raised petal like, calling to mind the lotus bases of Buddhist imagery. The vase is 9-3/4 inches (25 cm) tall, 5 inches (12.5 cm) diameter and in excellent condition. ...click for details

Raw dark earth is surmounted by metallic color on vase by Uke Kensaku enclosed in the original signed wooden box.
