| Lino Tagliapietra was born on the island of Murano in 1934, and began working in Archimede Seguso's glass factory at a tender age. After perfecting his skills as a "chief master glassmaker" he became artistic and technical director at "EffeTre International". His glass is shown in leading museums throughout the world. This is one of two matching vases I have listed, both pieces part of only 100 pieces made. This vase is blown black glass with umber canes in the tessuto technique. Signed "LINO TAGLIAPIETRA F31 MURANO 83/100 1982". Limited edition vase. In very good condition with no damage. Measures 10 inches tall and 6 inches wide.
