Lavender parian ewer jug made by "Sam Alcock & Co", Staffordshire, England in 1847 depicting the biblical story of Naomi and her Daughters-in-Law as moulded white relief on both sides of the jug. Beautiful rare footed covered oval bowl with handles, in semi-porcelain scalloped relief made by Samuel Ford & Co, Burslem, England (1898-1939). This covered bowl is in excellent undamaged condition although there is some very fine crazing on very close inspection. Green floral transferware with applied gold throughout including trim, against ivory white porcelain.
