It is a limited edition plate made in 1980 of just 5000 and is the 6th plate out of 6 in "The Children of Renoir" collection.

It measures approx. 8 1/4 inches in diameter with a rich border of 23 karat gold, hand painted over delicate embossing.

This plate comes new in box with papers and is in excellent condition, never having been used or displayed.

For your interest, the original painting "The Artist's Son" hangs in the Chicago Art Institute. It was painted in 1900 and beautifully depicts the boy sewing a garment for his toy camel.
