| Richly grained mahogany veneer table made during the 2nd Quarter of the 19th Century. A fold over table that can be rotated into place to open up the table full-size. Sits 4 people. Excellent for the use of playing cards or other games; at times these types of tables were also used for serving tea or cocktails. There is also a games compartment visible when lifting the fold-over table. Nicely shaped top with a harp shape pedestal base with drop finial. Measurements: 28.5" (72.5 cm) tall, closed: 17" (43 cm) wide by 34" (86.5 cm) long, open: 34" x 34" (86.5 x 86.5 cm). The condition is truly remarkable ... the table top is beautiful; however, there is an area showing a small repair (about 1.5" x 1.25" large - 4 x 3.5 cm) on the table top (when closed), a small scuff mark on side of table which is only visible when looking from under the table, no other damage ....
