In the Recamier range by Robert Haviland & C. Parlon, France, this beautiful set in the MATIGNON green pattern. Luxury porcelain with gold encrusted ferns, green leaves, against white porcelain. Measurement: Cup: 2 1/4" tall with a 2 1/4" opening, Saucer: 4 1/2" diameter Condition: MINT* This gorgeous demitasse/saucer set is from the "prestige collection" of Robert Haviland, grandson to Charles Haviland, who took over the company in 1924. Small masterpieces of perfection, applied by hand, the gold around the pieces are hand painted. Each piece is engraved and then guilded with two layers of gold. When the pieces have been fired, they are hand polished with an agate stone which give the gold particular depth and richness. This is an absolutely beautiful set of luxury french porcelain.
