The Pride, Legendary Ships of the Seas, D'Estrehan

Collector Plate named "The Pride" by artist, Alan D'Estrehan and commissioned by Royal Cornwall Ltd. in 1981. 7th plate in D'Estrehan's "Legendary Ships of the Seas" series. 9 1/4" diameter. Mint condition with original plastic bag, box, information booklet and certificate of authenticity. Never displayed. Mr. D'Estrehan passed away in the late 1980's.

ABOUT THE SHIP:
The story of the Pride is a tale of courage and redemption. For it is also the story of a notorious buccaneer, Jean Laffite, who renounced piracy to help the United States in its struggle for freedom during the war of 1812.
