Samuel Alcock Ewer Naomi & Her Daughters-in-Law c1847
Lavender parian ewer jug made by "Sam Alcock & Co", Staffordshire, England in 1847 depicting the biblical story of Naomi and her Daughters-in-Law as moulded white relief on both sides of the jug. Nicely scalloped base and beautifully designed white handle circling the top of the ewer. Measurements: 7.5" high (19 cm), 4" base diameter(10 cm). Marking: Logo, Patent, Sam Alcock Co with registration mark April 27, 1847 "Naomi and her Daughters-in-Law" (photo attached). Condition: Immaculate - 160 years old and cannot find any flaws.
