Gundy Clapperton Co., Toronto, 1905-1931 Canadian Brilliant Period (CBP) cut crystal relish tray in 5 stylized flowers (2 on each side and one in the center), leaves and geometric designs. Measurements: 8" x 4" (20 cm x 10 cm) Overall condition is very good, however, there is a couple of tiny nics on the rim of the tray, not visible unless actually looking for them, some tiny superficial scratches seen in light Marking: GCC (Gundy Clapperton Co.) in shamrock/clover-leaf Beautiful tray in gorgeous elegant design. Blanks for Gundy Clapperton cutting usually came from Baccarat of France, Val St. Lambert of Belgium, Libbey, Fry, Union Glass (Mass.), and Dorflinger. |
