American decorated porcelain candy dish or relish hand painted at Pickard Studios in Chicago. This dish is hand painted by Paul P. Gasper in the Italian Garden pattern.
MARKING: On the front is the artist signature Gasper. On the back is the black printed mark HAND PAINTED CHINA W PICKARD A on top of a gold painted maple leaf, apparently only used circa 1912 to 1918. CONDITION: In excellent virtually mint condition free from chips, cracks, scratches, stains, gold wear or fading, damages, or repairs. MEASUREMENTS: Approximate length is 8 3/4 inches. Gorgeous painting! |
