One antique Chinese hand scroll. Color on paper. Depicts scholars in different scenes and in different seasons. There are 16 paintings in different panels. Last part contains 2 panels with long inscription and signed. Looks like 2 different artists in the scroll. Painting size is 16" by 312" (26 feet long). Condition: fine. There are some brown stains on each panel. Circa 19th C. or older.

One Chinese hand scroll painting. Color and ink on silk. First part is a calligraphy on silk then a continuous scene of a palace by the river covered with mountains. At the end is a family of a scholar. People in their simple life. Signed and sealed by the artist. Totally there are 11 red seals on the painting. Overall dimension is 14" x 400". One rare Chinese lime stone Buddha head. An old receipt stated this sculpture was from Northern Qi period (550-577) and from an estate of Roy Chapman Andrew.
