One Japanese Satsuma cup and saucer from the Meiji period. The cup with a design of a family under the Autumn scene. The saucer depicts the family preparing a diner. Marked on the bottom of the cup. Saucer is 5" dia. Cup is 2" high and 3" wide. No chips no crack. Very fine detail and high quality. The landscape is lovely. It reminds us the good old time.

A very fine Japanese Satsuma cup in unusual shape. It depicts flowers on one side and a scene of children playing on the other side. The painting is very fine in detail. With the high quality, it can be assumed the cup comes from a famous studio. It marked with the name of the artist (unread). There are two butterflies decorated on each side makes the cup so charming. No damage. Minor loss in gilt. 2" high and 4" wide.
