Here is a set of 2 beautiful Navajo made sterling silver dress ornaments.These were normally fastened at intervals along the lateral margins of those wrap-around, homespun garments that, in later years, were worn principally on ceremonial occasions. Repousse has been extensively employed in the 2 dress ornaments and decorated with stamp designs common of this time period.
Two copper loops are soldered to the back for attaching to clothing.

While these would be worn as a prized vintage glass necklace, this lovely Czechoslovakian glass bead necklace (its original paper label is still intact!) has a unique history: they're actually Mardi Gras beads, thrown in a New Orleans parade sometime ca. 1920 - 30.
