This beautiful Margaret Cody weaving has the original label still with it. Margaret Cody is one of the most innovative weavers and daughter of a Navajo medicine man. Unfortunately this weaving was used on the floor and has some wear but is in great condition for the age. Please see images. I am selling this beauty for a collector friend of mine and he paid in 1991 $ 3600. - He would like to sell it for $ 3000. - But is willing to take a reasonable offer. Rug size is 51 x 66.

A rare, original, signed watercolor by Melody Lightfeather. She was a well-known Pima Indian artist who worked in New Mexico. Her work is well known for her acrylics and watercolor based on ancient Indian symbols. Her work appeared across the USA, Europe, the White House and the Smithsonian Institute. Ms. Lightfeather was killed in a traffic accident in 2001. The title of this marvelous watercolor is unknown to me.
