Sterling Bracelet Multi Stone Inlaid by Brett Bastien
Outstanding contemporary jeweler Brett W. Bastien from Santa Fe, New Mexico handcrafted this Loloma style inlaid bracelet. He is one of the few Anglo artisans to study at the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA). He studied under Famous silversmith Danny Romero, Duane Maktima and Otellie Pasaveva Loloma. This contemporary heavy sterling silver bracelet is inlaid with ironwood, natural Morenci turquoise, natural Blue Gem turquoise, red coral, lapis lazuli and fossilized Mastodon Ivory. Sterling silver spacer used to separate some of the inlay work. The bracelet is stamped with the maker’s initials, BWB, and sterling Inside measurements end-to-end are 5 5/8 inches. Opening is 1 1/8 inch. Bracelet is 1 3/8 inches wide. Weight is 4.95 oz. or 141 grams.
