Height: 24.7 cm (9.7 in) Width: 7.5 cm (3 in) This pair of Japanese cloisonne vases is of high quality with the panels of chrysanthemums featuring very fine wire-work. The diaper work below the rim and above the base is exquisite. There are two framed cartouches, one depicting a phoenix and Palonia leaves, the other a scene of birds flying through cherry blossom. There are no chips, cracks or restoration, just a very slight dint on the rim of one of the vases, hardly noticeable. |
