Height: 3.7 cm (1.6 in) Width: 3.1 cm (1.2 in) This stained ivory netsuke shows a Barbary Ape clawing in alarm at a crab that has clambered upon his shoulder. The animated expression has been captured well. The deep himotoshi are located at the back and the signature to the base. This piece is in very good condition. |
