Here is a very large and massive coffee table made from solid oak by the first quarter of the 20th century consisting of a thick beveled rectangular top sitting upon straight sides supported by boldly turned baluster legs standing on ball feet and joined by H-shaped stretcher. The frame is actually the antique part as such items were built into the wall while the back panels and shelves are estimated to be 20-30 years old. This is an very pretty sofa made from a nicely patinaed walnut by the end of the 19th century mounted by a lovely pierced carved crest depicting tied ribbon upon the boldly sculpted seatback standing upon the large seat flanked by padded armrests, all supported by a pair of tapered fluted front legs and a pair of slight scrolled back cabriole legs. This adorable piece of antique consists of 4 shelves providing an efficient display area and offering a large hidden drawer located underneath the top. Note the graceful barley twisted columns. Each features nicely scrolled ladder-back standing upon the colored rush seat, which is original and in a used condition, all supported by nicely turned baluster legs connected by stretchers.
