This is a very pretty pair of cassolettes cast from spelter by the end of the 19th century, directly inspired from the Louis XVI Style with acanthus and floral pattern, each centering medallion with cherubs and standing on a pink Phocaean marble base on cast bronze turned legs. Note minor dents and scratches here and there due to the age. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 12"high/ 5"wide/ 4"deep.

This is an elegantly simple Demi Lune (Half Moon) Table made from a lovely patinaed walnut by the beginning of the 19th century (The official Directoire period lasted from 2 November 1795 until 10 November 1799). This interesting piece can be opened into a round table to be used as a game or breakfast table. Note the hidden compartment located on the back of the table. This is a pretty side table made from a lovely patined beech wood by the second half of the 19th century consisting of a rectangular and beveled top, sitting upon a straight belt engraved with acanthus pattern revealing a large hidden compartment supported by nicely turned legs connected to each other, thanks to a H-shaped stretcher mounted with finial. Note a few scratches and dents here and there due to the age. Circa date 1880. Dimensions 28"high/ 31"wide/ 19"deep.
