A nice collectible brass bed warmer made during the second half of the 19th century consisting of a long turned handle made from walnut holding to the charcoal pan adorned with pierced stars and moon croissants. This is a very attractive and decorative hall tree made from solid walnut by the end of the 19th century. This piece was actually part of a boiserie in a restaurant located in a 19th century building near Lyon. This piece features a total of 8 wooden hangers. Circa date 1890. A pretty pair of 19th century painted chairs made from beechwood. The crest-rail is mounted with a lovely pierced carved cartouche and flanked by finials while the serpentine seat is covered by greenish velvet, which needs to be replaced. The pediment features turned legs and stretchers. Note that the painting is not original and was done at some point during the 20th century. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 36"high/ 19"seat height/ 17"wide/ 15"deep.
