This is a vertical lock originally coming from a Louis XVI Style buffet including its original key consisting of a brass plate with several steel parts that complete the lock. The key can be turned twice. Dimensions 22 3/8” high/ 1 ¼”wide.
Here is a decorative Louis Phlippe period mirror made during the first half of the 19th century consisting of an elegantly simple frame surrounding the original mirror.
