This is an appealing and intricately sculpted Box made from 2 solid pieces of Teak and originally coming from the Asian French colonies made during the reign of Napoleon III during the second half of the 19th century. Note the very detailed embellishment depicting foliate and floral garlands. The fabric inside the box is estimated to be a few years old. Circa date 1870. Dimensions 2 ½”high/ 8 ¾”wide/ 5”deep.
