This is an appealing Prayer Chair made from solid and exquisitely patinaed walnut around the middle part of the 19th century during the reign of Napoleon III. This adorably simple piece is mounted by a large cross, interlaced by foliates and flanked by turned columns. The floral upholstery is not original and estimated to be 10 years old. It is in a slight used condition. Circa date 1860. Dimensions 35”high/ 10”seat height/ 19”wide/ 17”deep.

This is a fantastic Italian Rococo Mirror, beautifully sculpted from solid poplar by the second half of the 19th century. This stunning and very decorative piece is mounted by a boldly sculpted shell-shaped cartouche standing upon a gadrooned and molded frame, flanked by impressively built pierced carved acanthus frieze, surrounding the original mirror. Note minor scratches and dents on the frame and several dark spots on the mirror due to the age. Circa date 1880. Dimensions 61”high/ 42 ½”wide.
