Each of this set of forty books is actually a safe fake book with efficient compartment to hide documents or other small items. Each with green and brown embossed leather spine with gilt accent and titled “Pieces de Theatre”. The supposed page edges are covered with colorful waiving as seen on most of the 19th century books. Here is a splendid and appealing bed made from lime tree at the end of the 19th century consisting of an demi lune headboard adorably embellished with volute pattern connected to the post-footboard by straight side rails accented with fluted design. Note the intricate acanthus shaped post. The floral fabric is not original and estimated to be 30-40 years old. It is necessary to replace it. Circa date 1890. Dimensions Mattress Frame: 55” wide by 75” long.

Here is a cute painted side table made from beech wood at the end of the 19th century, topped by its original inset “Belgium Red” marble trimmed by raie de cour patterns and sitting upon a recessed belt featuring a large single drawer mounted with the original garland shaped cast bronze handles, all supported by tapered fluted legs connected to each other by H-shaped stretcher. Note that the marble has been repaired at some point. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 29 ˝”high/ 28”wide/ 18”deep.
