| Here is a stunning elegantly simple console made from a nicely patinaed cherry by the beginning of the 19th century during the Empire period. This piece is top by its original carerra marble which sits upon a straight belt revealing a large hidden drawer, supported by a pair of nicely turned columns accented with bronze mounts and a pair of straight back columns, all connected to each other thanks to a bottom shelf standing on square legs. Note that the marble is original but has been repaired at some point. Circa date 1810. Dimensions 30”high/ 40”wide/ 20 ˝”deep. | |||||||||||
