| Here is a very attractive chest of drawers made at the beginning of the 20th century boasting a splendid rosewood veneer and highlighted by its original gray St Ann marble. The step-front façade is featuring a pair of drawers “sans traverse” intricately inlaid with tied ribbon and musical instruments and mounted with their original bronze cast handles and escutcheons. The pediment consists of slightly scrolled cabriole legs. Such piece is called Transition because it combines both Louis XV and Louis XVI style. Note some minor scratches here and there but nothing obvious. Lock and Key are in original condition. Circa date 1900. Dimensions 34”high/ 39 ½”wide/ 19”deep. | ||||||||||
