Approximately early to mid Ming Dynasty, Chinese provincial kiln blue and white porcelain jar with later Japanese ivory cover. This piece was exported to Japan and it was used as tea caddy in tea ceremony. It has Japanese ivory lid, cover, and fitted wood box. It is excellent condition, ivory lid has very slight chip on its edge.
Approximately 19th century, Chinese hard-stone snuff bottle, depicting a bat and a dragon carved in relief on the front and back. The stone is a translucent light brown to white colour. The stopper is deficient. Overall condition is good.

Most materials to make Ainu sword were acquired from Japanese people by trading or they made in Japan, exported to Hokkaido where most Ainu people lived.
